Charter Day Dinner Raises $1 Million for Scholarships

Fairleigh Dickinson University’s annual Charter Day Dinner on June 8 at the Florham Campus was the most successful in the event’s twenty-nine-year history, raising $1 million for student scholarships. This year’s honoree was Christopher Johnson, BS’93, head coach, Hollister Construction Services, and University benefactor. In addition to the Charter Day honor, The PINNACLE Awards were presented to four distinguished alumni. 

President Bill Clinton concludes fourth season of NJ Speakers Series

The fourth season of FDU’s New Jersey Speakers Series concluded on April 12 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark with President Bill Clinton who spoke about the "zero-sum game, us-versus-them" mentality prevalent in American politics and across the globe. FDU President Christopher A. Capuano moderated a follow-up discussion with questions taken from audience members.

Metro students lift others up on spring break

Parts of New York are still recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy more than five years later. This includes Rockaway, where 16 members of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus community volunteered over spring break.
